A careful first-deposit walkthrough for sending crypto from your wallet to a casino without mixing up coins, networks, or addresses.

What You’ll Need

Before you start, make sure you have:

  • A crypto wallet with funds (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Phantom, etc.)
  • An account at the crypto casino you want to play at
  • A clear match between the coin and network you plan to use
  • The casino’s minimum deposit amount

First Deposit Walkthrough

Step 1: Log In and Find the Deposit Page

Sign into your casino account. Look for a button labeled “Deposit”, “Cashier”, or “Wallet” - it’s usually in the top-right corner or in a sidebar menu.

Step 2: Select Your Cryptocurrency

Choose the coin you want to deposit. Common options:

  • BTC (Bitcoin) - slowest but most widely accepted
  • ETH (Ethereum) - good speed, moderate fees
  • USDT / USDC - dollar-pegged stablecoins with lower price movement
  • SOL (Solana) - fast and usually low-fee when supported
  • LTC (Litecoin) - fast and cheap

Critical: Make sure you select the correct network for your deposit. For example, USDT exists on Ethereum (ERC-20), Tron (TRC-20), and other chains. Sending on the wrong network can result in lost funds.

Step 3: Copy the Deposit Address

The casino will show you a unique wallet address (a long string of letters and numbers). Click the copy button - never type it manually.

Some casinos also show a QR code that you can scan with a mobile wallet.

Step 4: Send from Your Wallet

  1. Open your crypto wallet (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, etc.)
  2. Click “Send”
  3. Paste the casino’s deposit address
  4. Enter the amount you want to deposit
  5. Double-check the address and network
  6. Click “Confirm” and approve the transaction

Step 5: Wait for Confirmation

Your deposit should appear after the blockchain confirms the transaction and the casino credits it:

CryptoTypical Wait Time
Solana (SOL)Often a few minutes or less
Litecoin (LTC)Often a few minutes
USDT (TRC-20)Often a few minutes
Ethereum (ETH)Usually a few minutes when not congested
Bitcoin (BTC)Often 10-60 minutes depending on fees and confirmations

Step 6: Check the Account Balance

Once confirmed, your balance should appear in your casino account. Check whether the deposit triggered a bonus before you place a bet, because bonus terms can affect withdrawals.

First-Timer Safety Checklist

Do ThisDon’t Do This
Send a small test deposit first ($5-$10)Deposit your entire bankroll on the first try
Double-check the wallet addressType the address manually
Use a personal wallet (not exchange)Send directly from Coinbase/Binance
Screenshot the transaction hashIgnore the confirmation details
Verify the network matchesAssume all USDT is the same

My Deposit Didn’t Arrive?

Don’t panic. Common reasons and fixes:

  1. Still confirming: Check the blockchain explorer with your transaction hash
  2. Wrong network: If you sent ERC-20 to a TRC-20 address, contact support immediately
  3. Below minimum: Some casinos have minimum deposit amounts - check the terms
  4. Casino processing: Some sites batch-process deposits every few minutes

First-deposit tip: Send the smallest amount that meets the casino minimum as a test. Once it arrives, you know the address, network, and wallet flow are correct before sending more.
